Slavoj ZIZEK on Violence
It is about one hour interview. ZIZEK answers four questions. ZIZEK is a controversial leftist intellectual. You watch the interview and make your own judgment. The video throws some light as to how a modern progressive philosopher thinks and analyzes the issues. What are the existential problems being reflected upon, by a present day progressive minds?

Respected Noor! thanks for sharing Zizek’s video. I am reading and listening to Slavoy Zizek for last three years. He was one of my favorite progressive theorist. The reason of reverence was that he is compelling and persuasive voice against capitalism. Since he is influenced by Marx ideology therefore conventional sicknesses from Marxism do creep in his deliberations. He presents his thoughts around the world, his audiences are everywhere, to retain them he compromises a lot. Nonetheless he is unique the way he delivers his thoughts and he is very compatible to this time of “Shutdown”, “Sit¬in”, “Occupy” and Zeitgeist movements.
Imagine who projects him in electronic media; Julian Assange, Russian TV (RT) and Peter Joseph.
I have “one liner” for him; along with determination, clarity, haircut he needs a jacket and a necktie while speaking at international forums.
