Religion, Faith, Belief, and adherence to a particular sect of a religion are accidental events…..i.e. accident of birth. If a person was born in the house next door, he might have been a Hindu instead of being a Muslim (A Wahabi or Barelvi or a Shia for that matter) or perhaps a Christian if he was born in the house next door on the other side. Perhaps two doors down he would have been Jewish. The adherence to a Faith system, and passionate loyalty to it, grows from the up-bringing that imparts silent brain-washing, from the parents, clan and community. One does not compare several options of Religions/Faiths/Sects to make an objective comparison for the purpose of choosing one and then adopting it as his/her choice. That decision is made by the fate which decides which family one is born in. The petrodollars of Saudi Arabia and other oil-rich Sheikhdoms are funding the propagation of Wahabi/Salafi Faith, causing that Faith to come out of the category of Accidental phenomenon to Enforced phenomenon. Financial resources are the blood line and mainstay of such Enforced Beliefs. If Morsi and/or other leaders like him can spend more money for longer time than the Brotherhood (and its financial backers) they will prevail, otherwise not.
Oh Boy! Perfect example of Man made religion where women have absolutely no role to play but to reproduce and be abused. That’s why these countries are what they are today as more than 50% of their population is busy pleasing the rest of them. Oh well, it’s their culture, their traditions and they know what works for them. However, it starts to really disturb me when all this is being justified under the religious umbrella by one extreme and the other extreme reacts by blaming the religion. Both of them are completely wrong and utterly clueless about the religion. Both these extremes are victims of their traditions converted into religions.
4:1 “O manking! be conscious of your Lord who created you from a single soul and form it created your spouse and dispersed from both of them many men and women…”
All those people who believe that Adam was created first and from his rib Eve was created need to ponder over this. This is ample proof that God doesn’t have any preference of men over women. Pay close attention to “Created you” in the above statement, which is addressing the reader whether a man or a woman.
